The Life of a Teacher

Nine teachers share their heart and passion about teaching providing a small glimpse behind the walls of schools and into the classroom. This video may very well shift preconceived notions about the general perception of today's educators. The concept for this video began due the the overwhelming and often unreported challenges that face teachers today. There is so much negative reporting continuing to be broadcast concerning schools and teachers in today's public schools that are often initiated by well funded political interest. Teachers' voices deserve to be heard to help families and communities understand that there is an internal passion within most educators of today's public schools who are continuing to put students needs and successes above their own. However, the true success for students begins in the home and the influences around them. This video is dedicated to school districts who continue to seek out and employ passionate teachers who strive to be the roll models that children need in today's society. It is my personal hope that this video may one day be a tool used to encourage and promote the passion of great teachers within their districts for staff meetings, professional development and to share with families and students within their communities.
